About us
Acroloco.
Acroloco was born from our passion for Acroyoga and our adventurous spirit. In January 2023, we embarked on our first trip together to Mexico, staying at the Loco Hotel, where we dove deep into Acroyoga, learning and practicing together every day. It was in this inspiring atmosphere that the idea of Acroloco came to life. The word "Loco," which means "crazy" in Spanish, perfectly reflects our daring approach and our desire to push our limits.
“Acroyoga is my refuge from everyday life and my way of reconnecting with my body.”
In 2019, I discovered Acroyoga while on holiday in Bali, where I took a beginner class. However, it wasn't until the opening of Ora Studio in Switzerland in 2021 that I was able to fully embrace this newfound passion. This journey sparked my enthusiasm for Acroyoga, combining personal growth, exciting challenges, and acrobatics. It also created a meaningful connection with others and a vibrant sense of community—something not common in Switzerland.
However, my Yoga journey already began in 2017, after several serious injuries (fractured spine and elbow). The practice helped me regain my confidence and fitness. At the same time, I've always been competitive, ever since I was a child. I won several medals in gymnastics, including the title of Swiss champion in 2010 in my category and then climbing enabled me to take on new challenges and experience new thrills.

“Acroyoga has become my sport of choice, continuously pushing me to reach new heights.”
From an early age, sport has always been at the heart of my life. Each new discipline has been an adventure and an opportunity to push back my limits. My career has been marked by competition, where determination led me to obtain my black belt in Martial Arts at the age of 15.
Gymnastics then enabled me to combine discipline and acrobatics, while exploring various sports in parallel. Whether upside down, jumping off a 14m bridge, or sliding over barriers on rollerblades, I've always sought to live intensely.
This passion naturally led me to acroyoga, a field in which I can now harness strength, agility and determination.

Our journey?
In 2021, we embarked on a 50-hour training course led by the teacher Sébastien Hartmann from the Stateam School in Switzerland. This course was grounded in the foundational principles established by renowned experts Jacob Brown and Debbie Collins, who have made significant contributions to the discipline.
Following this training, we taught for 2 years at Ora Studio and took part in workshops and intensive weekends with various teachers around the world. These experiences now enable us to offer courses for various communities.

Why?
As soon as we started out in the fascinating world of Acroyoga, we felt the need for a directory to memorize the vocabulary and routines we were learning. This lack of centralized resources inspired us to create the Acroloco Instagram account, designed to make it easy to find classic Flows and tutorials. This is by no means exhaustive, but we have noticed a real need for it. That’s why we continue to enrich it and enjoy sharing our (new) knowledge.

Today?
We want to spread the word about the discipline and make it an increasingly important part of our lives.
Likewise, faced with thousands of interested parties joining us on Instagram, we realized that our videos could be risky for beginners without guidance. That's why we've compiled our expertise into comprehensive guides for beginners. It features detailed videos suitable for those wishing to begin Acroyoga as well as those looking to strengthen their foundations.
